If you want to sell your own digital products, CBU is a great choice, but I don’t recommend you purchase everything Clickbank wants you to buy. As is typical of this type of company, they start you off with one product, then continually add things during the “upsell” process, so your final price becomes way higher than you expected. WA gives you two sites that uses sublinks. When I say sub-links I mean that they make you go into their servers of (for example as I can’t remember their links off the top of my head as I use so many now) say http://www.whatsiteisit.mysite.wealthyaffiliate.com or something like that where it gets routed somewhere before it goes to your site as you are using their main link and it is rerouted to you through them.
In case you’re someone who is absolutely clueless about digital marketing and clickbank marketing, you can always use the 8-week and 12-week training programs to their full potential. The live weekly sessions will clarify your doubts about anything and everything pertaining to marketing. Email them and ask if they'll promote it. You'll be surprised! It does help if they know who you are first, but this is easy enough to do. Follow them online, Re-Tweet their stuff, comment on their FB and Twitter posts and add VALUE. Once you've done this for a week or two and they know you a bit, it's much easier to get them to promote for you! 🙂
Sadly, it has and still IS going on. When I finally decided to leave WA and not renew at the roughly $400 gold member membership price, WA changed the websites email holder to no longer for example to be mike@lovelightsllc.com but to mike@domainshield.com. I have had several agencies contact the owners of WA to rectify this plan and I have even been emailed directly saying that they have “fixed the problem”.
As for being OVERLY positive, as you said, I don’t really get that ‘feeling’ when browsing their site. I expected to ‘see’ them ‘shouting from the rooftops’ about how awesome CB University is (based on your comment), but didn’t really get that feeling. It just felt to me like they were trying too hard to come off a real review, despite it clearly not being one.
It CAN be worked with the basics but it will take you a long time to get them working using a host sublinked website and just 2 before you have to pay for your domains which one should want to do even for the 1st two so you do not have the long sublink. I wouldn’t buy from a sublink. I would think it is a trap or a “sneaky” website more so than a “trusted” dot com site. That is why it is ALWAYS worth paying the $11.99 or $12.99 for the domain registration, for the MILLIONS of people like me in the computer security field.
Wealthy Affiliate never lock any website. As long as you have purchased your own domain name, it’s yours 100%. For hosting, WA doesn’t charge any additional charge for web hosting. It’s included in the membership price which I mentioned earlier on. If you’re referring to the domain name, one domain name costs around $14 to $16 per year. So I really don’t know what’s the expensive hosting you’re talking about.
So, this is all you need to start a successful affiliate marketing business. Literally, that’s all I have to say. What CBU will not give you is Experience and you will only get that if you take action now. Yes, this is your real problem that you do not take action. I have already told you that this Affiliate Training program is best for you but you are still procrastinating.
