Sadly, it has and still IS going on. When I finally decided to leave WA and not renew at the roughly $400 gold member membership price, WA changed the websites email holder to no longer for example to be mike@lovelightsllc.com but to mike@domainshield.com. I have had several agencies contact the owners of WA to rectify this plan and I have even been emailed directly saying that they have “fixed the problem”.
Clickbank University (CBU) has some pretty good affiliate training, but not my #1 choice. I’ve been doing this stuff for almost a decade now. If you want to be an affiliate and build affiliate websites, then you are better off learning about that stuff from this affiliate training center. They’ve been around for 15 years, and have produced thousands of success stories (some of which I’ve personally mentored, since 2012).
Hey, I love this article thanks! I’m a complete novice and have found it very confusing with all the options on courses and opinions about them. I really like the look of ClickBank University but I can’t decide on it because of the price. I understand it has a ton of features but because I’m worried I’ll take too long learning and not all the modules are available to me immediately, resulting in me over-spending or losing interest. After reading your review I can see how good it is and it’s worth the money but then again in this review they love ClickBank University a bit too much, so not sure if they are just saying it’s great (link removed by editor). So that’s why you’re having difficulty getting your website to transfer to other places. You even complained that WA may have deleted your website. Like I’ve said, it’s totally your fault because they’ve explicitly said that you need to transfer your website to other hosting before you leave. So I don’t see there’s any problem with WA for that issue.
I purchased Clickbank Builder, unfortunately, a while back ago. They promised that certain templates for different niches were “coming soon” and that you could build “unlimited membership sites. They added only about 1 or 2 new templates in the past 240 days since I purchased it and there is no way to build a membership site. Since I am passed 30 days, they won’t refund me, nor have they directly answered my statement about not delivering on a product they are marketing. Scandalous!

As for being OVERLY positive, as you said, I don’t really get that ‘feeling’ when browsing their site. I expected to ‘see’ them ‘shouting from the rooftops’ about how awesome CB University is (based on your comment), but didn’t really get that feeling. It just felt to me like they were trying too hard to come off a real review, despite it clearly not being one.
Another feature that definitely makes the cut is the CBU toolkit. Although you’re required to pay some extra money for it, the tool seems to be worth the value since it lets you access all the necessary resources for fully running a working website. Some of these tools include the email service provider tool, tools for social media marketing and so on.
