Thrive Themes does provide a lot of training and support to help its customers so don’t worry that you don’t have the technical skill to use it. It’s all drag and drop. Wealthy Affiliate never lock any website. As long as you have purchased your own domain name, it’s yours 100%. For hosting, WA doesn’t charge any additional charge for web hosting. It’s included in the membership price which I mentioned earlier on. If you’re referring to the domain name, one domain name costs around $14 to $16 per year. So I really don’t know what’s the expensive hosting you’re talking about.
My #1 Tip, no matter WHAT you do online, CBU or otherwise: Stick with it, don't just jump around from one method to another if you don't find success right away. It took me a good YEAR to get my first Affiliate sale, but I also wasn't following any particular training, and was just jumping around from method to method....so I do have a bit of experience there and know what i'm talking about. :-)
So that’s why you’re having difficulty getting your website to transfer to other places. You even complained that WA may have deleted your website. Like I’ve said, it’s totally your fault because they’ve explicitly said that you need to transfer your website to other hosting before you leave. So I don’t see there’s any problem with WA for that issue.
You can use this skill to help other businesses drive customers to their business. It’s kind of like affiliate marketing, but is often a lot more hands-off and easier to manage.
