I saw a webinar a few years ago with ClickBank University and to tell you the truth I was very impressed. But like you said what I realized was that they are really expensive. Nevertheless, many members have said how ClickBank has made them some really good money. I agree with you, the Wealthy Affiliate University platform has the best online training by far.
If you want to sell your own digital products, CBU is a great choice, but I don’t recommend you purchase everything Clickbank wants you to buy. As is typical of this type of company, they start you off with one product, then continually add things during the “upsell” process, so your final price becomes way higher than you expected. Hey, I love this article thanks! I’m a complete novice and have found it very confusing with all the options on courses and opinions about them. I really like the look of ClickBank University but I can’t decide on it because of the price. I understand it has a ton of features but because I’m worried I’ll take too long learning and not all the modules are available to me immediately, resulting in me over-spending or losing interest. After reading your review I can see how good it is and it’s worth the money but then again in this review they love ClickBank University a bit too much, so not sure if they are just saying it’s great (link removed by editor). I would love an honest opinion from someone who has used it build a successful business and whether I actually need all the bells and whistles just to get started?? Thanks Jim, appreciate your help!
First of all, I’m not saying you MUST host your website at ClickBank. But if you’ve started building website using their Builder tool, it’s hard for you to move it somewhere else, not because they hold “hostage” to your website. It’s because the contents are built in such a way that it can only be shown properly using their Builder. When you move your website to somewhere else, you have to spend a lot of time re-doing all the content to make it look visually appealing. You get my point here? This is just like many other content/page builders. Once you stop using the plugin, your content is no longer readable.
Wealthy Affiliate never lock any website. As long as you have purchased your own domain name, it’s yours 100%. For hosting, WA doesn’t charge any additional charge for web hosting. It’s included in the membership price which I mentioned earlier on. If you’re referring to the domain name, one domain name costs around $14 to $16 per year. So I really don’t know what’s the expensive hosting you’re talking about.
This is a new product that you will learn of after you join CBU training. It’s a professional drag-and-drop tool for creating landing pages, websites and offer pages. The catch 22 with this tool is it costs a hefty $594. You can pay this in two installments of $297 and since it comes with advantages such as ability to integrate with ClickBank you may consider purchasing it.

WA gives you two sites that uses sublinks. When I say sub-links I mean that they make you go into their servers of (for example as I can’t remember their links off the top of my head as I use so many now) say http://www.whatsiteisit.mysite.wealthyaffiliate.com or something like that where it gets routed somewhere before it goes to your site as you are using their main link and it is rerouted to you through them.
First of all, I have been with WA for years and I’am getting good results. So you definitely have no rights to say that I’m misinformed or anything like that. Just because you had some problems for your site in WA, it doesn’t mean WA has the full responsibility for it. I’ll explain later. But to be honest, I must say you’re the one that’s misinformed.
