Hey, I love this article thanks! I’m a complete novice and have found it very confusing with all the options on courses and opinions about them. I really like the look of ClickBank University but I can’t decide on it because of the price. I understand it has a ton of features but because I’m worried I’ll take too long learning and not all the modules are available to me immediately, resulting in me over-spending or losing interest. After reading your review I can see how good it is and it’s worth the money but then again in this review they love ClickBank University a bit too much, so not sure if they are just saying it’s great (link removed by editor). I would love an honest opinion from someone who has used it build a successful business and whether I actually need all the bells and whistles just to get started?? Thanks Jim, appreciate your help!
Summary: ClickBank University 2.0 has a solid course with useful tools to help people create their own digital products, market it on ClickBank and make money. They also have a set of course to guide people in affiliate marketing but the information is limited and outdated. In addition, CBU has a high-ticket upsell which they did not reveal to you upfront. So, take note of that!
The trainings are given through easy to follow videos and supplementary PDF’s presented by Justin Atlan and Adam Horwitz. Why I say the videos are easy to follow is because they’re only 3 to 5 minutes long. Which means essentially your concentration will be at its peak the whole time and you’ll get most of the information (tons of quality ones) by the end of every video. If you purchase Thrive Architect this plugin alone, it’ll be a one-time fee. However, there’s an option for you to purchase their membership which allows you to gain access to all Thrive plugins and themes (this is a very good deal in my opinion). In this case, it will be either a quarterly fee or a yearly fee depending on your choice. Thrive Themes does provide a lot of training and support to help its customers so don’t worry that you don’t have the technical skill to use it. It’s all drag and drop. They make it so simple that anyone can handle it.
First of all, I’m not saying you MUST host your website at ClickBank. But if you’ve started building website using their Builder tool, it’s hard for you to move it somewhere else, not because they hold “hostage” to your website. It’s because the contents are built in such a way that it can only be shown properly using their Builder. When you move your website to somewhere else, you have to spend a lot of time re-doing all the content to make it look visually appealing. You get my point here? This is just like many other content/page builders. Once you stop using the plugin, your content is no longer readable.
In case you’re someone who is absolutely clueless about digital marketing and clickbank marketing, you can always use the 8-week and 12-week training programs to their full potential. The live weekly sessions will clarify your doubts about anything and everything pertaining to marketing. While the first two weeks elucidate on ideas that you can use for creating new products, the following weeks offer you the necessary insight on setting up your very own sales page and landing page. The fourth and fifth weeks are relevant in helping you explain how your visitors can transform to potential buyers, while the sixth week focuses more on helping you build a proper email list. Finally, the 7th week will give you valuable insights on how you can get your product approved in the specific marketplace where you are selling it on the first place and in 8th week you’ll get to know how you can collaborate with other vendors.
Clickbank University is a good product that's worth the monthly membership cost of $47/month. I think that for someone looking to create and promote their own digital info product through Clickbank, this is probably going to be your best investment. If you are an “expert” in something and want to make money off of your knowledge, now's the time to start!
