As you may or may not know, to transfer a site you need to get the EPP code and then point the servers at the new host. The NEW host is then to send you a validation code that is ONLY accepted at the website email address to which is taken over by domainshield.com. Since THEY hold access to that email. I am locked out of the website. I cannot verify their validation code. I cannot point the servers at the site. I contacted WA again, now, there is no response.
Sadly, it has and still IS going on. When I finally decided to leave WA and not renew at the roughly $400 gold member membership price, WA changed the websites email holder to no longer for example to be mike@lovelightsllc.com but to mike@domainshield.com. I have had several agencies contact the owners of WA to rectify this plan and I have even been emailed directly saying that they have “fixed the problem”.
Wealthy Affiliate never lock any website. As long as you have purchased your own domain name, it’s yours 100%. For hosting, WA doesn’t charge any additional charge for web hosting. It’s included in the membership price which I mentioned earlier on. If you’re referring to the domain name, one domain name costs around $14 to $16 per year. So I really don’t know what’s the expensive hosting you’re talking about.

Clickbank University (CBU) has some pretty good affiliate training, but not my #1 choice. I’ve been doing this stuff for almost a decade now. If you want to be an affiliate and build affiliate websites, then you are better off learning about that stuff from this affiliate training center. They’ve been around for 15 years, and have produced thousands of success stories (some of which I’ve personally mentored, since 2012).
Email them and ask if they'll promote it. You'll be surprised! It does help if they know who you are first, but this is easy enough to do. Follow them online, Re-Tweet their stuff, comment on their FB and Twitter posts and add VALUE. Once you've done this for a week or two and they know you a bit, it's much easier to get them to promote for you! 🙂

Hey, I love this article thanks! I’m a complete novice and have found it very confusing with all the options on courses and opinions about them. I really like the look of ClickBank University but I can’t decide on it because of the price. I understand it has a ton of features but because I’m worried I’ll take too long learning and not all the modules are available to me immediately, resulting in me over-spending or losing interest. After reading your review I can see how good it is and it’s worth the money but then again in this review they love ClickBank University a bit too much, so not sure if they are just saying it’s great (link removed by editor). I DO know Wealthy Affiliates first-hand as I WAS a member for 1 year. I used 3 websites through them and I was successful BEHIND the scenes with networking and connecting with people but there I did not get the help I needed or wanted. It wasn’t like I did not reach out to others either but the worst part of being there is right now over a year later.
There is nothing wrong with that because I am also an Affiliate and have launched only 1 product in which I was the 3rd partner lol. So it’s totally upon you. But there will be some people who will definitely try this because it is powerful stuff. It’s great for creating a customer base or email and list and then promoting relevant products to them.
If you want to sell your own digital products, CBU is a great choice, but I don’t recommend you purchase everything Clickbank wants you to buy. As is typical of this type of company, they start you off with one product, then continually add things during the “upsell” process, so your final price becomes way higher than you expected. Keep reading for details on what to NOT buy from them if you go with CBU.
I purchased Clickbank Builder, unfortunately, a while back ago. They promised that certain templates for different niches were “coming soon” and that you could build “unlimited membership sites. They added only about 1 or 2 new templates in the past 240 days since I purchased it and there is no way to build a membership site. Since I am passed 30 days, they won’t refund me, nor have they directly answered my statement about not delivering on a product they are marketing. Scandalous!
