I came across this ClickBank university, recently during the summer of 2017. I am not sure if it was the updated version but, I am glad you reviewed this product. I almost signed up with them, thinking that they would actually provided answers to building a business. For some reason, I changed my mind. Probably because, I knew it had a catch to it somewhere. Sadly, it has and still IS going on. When I finally decided to leave WA and not renew at the roughly $400 gold member membership price, WA changed the websites email holder to no longer for example to be mike@lovelightsllc.com but to mike@domainshield.com. I have had several agencies contact the owners of WA to rectify this plan and I have even been emailed directly saying that they have “fixed the problem”.
First of all, I’m not saying you MUST host your website at ClickBank. But if you’ve started building website using their Builder tool, it’s hard for you to move it somewhere else, not because they hold “hostage” to your website. It’s because the contents are built in such a way that it can only be shown properly using their Builder. When you move your website to somewhere else, you have to spend a lot of time re-doing all the content to make it look visually appealing. You get my point here? This is just like many other content/page builders. Once you stop using the plugin, your content is no longer readable.
You know what is funny? Right now as I go to WA to get the info for my site, some of it has changed. The ENTIRE site has been wiped out and replaced. I guess WA DELETED it or domain shield did. I do not have ANY of my products on it. It was not even a valid link the last time I went to open it. Now it DOES open and shows a damn flower pot. It shows WA servers holding it again at the WA site which I changed several times to the BLUE HOST servers and Enom told them to LEAVE alone and in 10 days they would automatically lock in or something of the sort but of course that did not work either.
So that’s why you’re having difficulty getting your website to transfer to other places. You even complained that WA may have deleted your website. Like I’ve said, it’s totally your fault because they’ve explicitly said that you need to transfer your website to other hosting before you leave. So I don’t see there’s any problem with WA for that issue.
