Wealthy Affiliate never lock any website. As long as you have purchased your own domain name, it’s yours 100%. For hosting, WA doesn’t charge any additional charge for web hosting. It’s included in the membership price which I mentioned earlier on. If you’re referring to the domain name, one domain name costs around $14 to $16 per year. So I really don’t know what’s the expensive hosting you’re talking about.

Hey, I love this article thanks! I’m a complete novice and have found it very confusing with all the options on courses and opinions about them. I really like the look of ClickBank University but I can’t decide on it because of the price. I understand it has a ton of features but because I’m worried I’ll take too long learning and not all the modules are available to me immediately, resulting in me over-spending or losing interest. After reading your review I can see how good it is and it’s worth the money but then again in this review they love ClickBank University a bit too much, so not sure if they are just saying it’s great (link removed by editor). So that’s why you’re having difficulty getting your website to transfer to other places. You even complained that WA may have deleted your website. Like I’ve said, it’s totally your fault because they’ve explicitly said that you need to transfer your website to other hosting before you leave. So I don’t see there’s any problem with WA for that issue.

However, there’s an option for you to purchase their membership which allows you to gain access to all Thrive plugins and themes (this is a very good deal in my opinion). In this case, it will be either a quarterly fee or a yearly fee depending on your choice. I just completed week 8 after spending about 30 minutes every other day and $47 to digest this affiliate marketing thing. I’ve had reservations since day one as the information seems outdated. Everything your review mentions is true. My own research on their claims back it up as I’m skeptical by nature.
